We are Nivasi Interiors, and we design and build homes. Along the way we are trusted with practical, personal things — where you live, the layout of your home, your budget, and the photographs of a space that is yours. This policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can have it changed or removed.
1. Who we are
Nivasi Interiors designs and delivers home interiors — modular kitchens, wardrobes, full-home fit-outs, renovation and turnkey projects — from our head office in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit nivasiinteriors.com, when you enquire about a project, and while your home is being designed and built.
It applies to information handled by Nivasi Interiors and our team. Where a third party (a material brand, a factory, a logistics partner) handles your information on our behalf, we tell you below. This policy is read together with our Terms & Conditions.
2. What we collect
We only ask for what a conversation about your home genuinely needs. Depending on how you reach us, that is:
- Contact details you give us: name, mobile number, and email address where you choose to share one.
- Project details: your apartment or building name, pincode, the rooms you want covered, your budget range, and when you would like to move in.
- Franchise enquiries: your preferred city and a line about your background or business experience.
- Your message: anything you type about your home, floor plan notes, photographs you send us, and the conversation that follows on call, WhatsApp or email.
- Home and site information gathered during measurement and execution: floor plans, site measurements, photographs and video of your home, material and finish selections, and installation records.
- Payment and billing information needed to raise invoices and receipts for your project. Card and UPI payments are processed by our payment provider; we keep the record of the transaction, not your card number.
- Basic technical information when you browse the site: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. This is aggregated and used to understand which parts of the site people actually read.
3. Why we collect it
Your information is used to do the work you contacted us about, and to keep a proper record of it:
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a design consultation, and prepare a layout, quotation and timeline for your home.
- To design, manufacture, deliver and install your interiors to the specification you approved.
- To raise invoices, collect payment, and issue receipts and warranty documents.
- To keep you updated on your project and to provide after-sales service under our warranty.
- To send you occasional updates about our work, offers or studio events — only where you have asked for them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
- To improve the website: understanding which pages are read, where people get stuck, and which designs draw interest.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations, including taxes, record-keeping and any lawful request from an authority.
4. How we handle photographs of your home
Photographs and videos taken during measurement, installation and handover help us check quality, resolve a snag, and show completed work to future homeowners. Where we use your home in our portfolio, on social media, or in advertising, we do not publish your name, address or apartment identification without your agreement — and you can ask us to withdraw a home from our public portfolio at any time by writing to us.
Any imagery used for quality or warranty records stays with our team and is not sold or shared outside the purposes described in this policy.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is seen only where the work requires it:
- Our own design, sales, project, factory and installation teams.
- Our customer relationship management and enquiry systems, which store your enquiry and our correspondence with you so the right person can pick up the conversation.
- Trusted service partners who take part in delivering your project — material and appliance brands, logistics and installation contractors, and payment processors — limited to what their part of the work needs.
- Our professional advisers (accountants, auditors and lawyers) and authorities, where we are required by law.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies: essential ones that let the site function and remember your preferences, and analytics ones that tell us how the site is being used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, though some features may behave differently.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles or to sell you to third parties.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up with you, and project records — drawings, approvals, invoices, warranty documents — for the life of your warranty and as long as accounting and tax law requires. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted or anonymised.
8. How we protect it
We keep your information on systems with access controls, use encrypted connections for the website and our correspondence, and limit access to the people who need it for your project. No method of storage is completely secure, so we ask for your help too: please do not share passwords or banking credentials with anyone claiming to be from our team over an unverified channel.
9. Your choices
You are in charge of the information you give us. You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, stop contacting you for updates, or delete information we no longer need to keep. You can also decline to share particular details — though some, like a mobile number or pincode, are needed for us to respond to an enquiry.
To make a request, write to hello@nivasiinteriors.com or call +91 9900 100 842. We will verify your identity where necessary and respond within a reasonable period.
10. Children
Our services are for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The latest version always sits at this address, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
